CHIEF GROWTH OFFICER

The Valet team are currently looking to take on a new founding member to fill the role of Chief Growth Officer. Joining the business as a partner and working with the current founders, we’re looking for someone who can take charge of Valet’s brand and customer acquisitions on both B2C and B2B levels.

What You’ll Do

  • The CGO will be primarily responsible for generating new business and consumer users of the Valet service, taking charge of the company’s growth strategies to help ensure Valet’s successful future.

  • The role will involve both Marketing and Sales responsibilities – you’ll need to be as comfortable planning social media and advertising strategies to reach the public as you are talking to CEOs and business decision-makers.

  • You won’t be working alone – you’ll be joining Valet’s existing team, who have marketing and sales experience – but you’ll be leading the way forward in growing Valet into a global business.

  • In terms of specific responsibilities, we’re looking for someone who can take charge in the following areas:

    • Social Media and Brand-building

    • Advertising

    • Content & Email Marketing (working with the COO)

    • PR & Press (working with the COO)

    • B2B Sales

Who You are

  • Previous Marketing or Sales Experience

    • The CGO will need to straddle both sides of user acquisition, attracting business customers and consumers. We’re looking for experience in at least one of these areas, with a willingness to throw yourself into learning the other.

  • Available to work full-time on Valet

    • Valet is a launched product – anyone with a phone can download the app and subscribe. That means growing it is a full-time job, and we’re looking for someone who can commit their time accordingly.

  • Creative & Adaptable

    • In a startup, things can change drastically at a moment’s notice – you’ll need to be able to look at a huge variety of different problems from equally variable angles, and be ready to develop new approaches and strategies to get Valet the attention it deserves.

  • Comfortable Working Independently

    • Valet is a small team – we all support each other, but some things have to fall on one person’s shoulders. To succeed as the CGO, you’ll have to be comfortable owning the acquisition process from first step to last. The support’s there if you need it, but the initiative has to be yours.
